Fashion...Food...Fabulous (Part 2)

Next comes Fashion..... I was just walking around and what did I see? A Snoopy shop.....Snoopy is my all time favourite cartoon character! I just had to go in....

And what else did I find here? Giordano has a whole level specifically for ladies, check out the decor, absolutely amazing! Sofas and chairs around the store for the men to sit around while their female friends shop around, they even have a huge dressing room with even more chairs and lush carpets for companions to sit while waiting for the ladies to dress and asks their opinions! As I had to take the picture discreetly, it doesn't show exactly how glam the dressing room is!

Did I also mention that a Giordano business shirt is more expensive than one from G2000 here? I simply could not believe it! This is Giordano that we are talking about...

Decide to get a haircut while you're here? Why..you can always pop over to the Esprit hair salon! The Huge pictures shows the hairstylist and which Esprit salon that you can find them. I decided not to go for a haircut there this time, maybe next time.

Fashion...Food...Fabulous! (Part 1)

I'm only onto my 5th day here in Hong Kong and I am still constantly being amazed by the things that I find. The food is great...

How could I pass up trying out one of my favourite places in Sydney which is Yoshinoya when I see it in Hong Kong! I have to say, as you can see from the pic above, their decor is really nice..very different! I ended up ordering a breakfast set since it was morning and it was nice! Rice, meat, eggs ( I love eggs)...a very different breakfast from what I usually have!

Later, I came across a Haagen Dazs store (which has been sorely missed since I went over to Sydney) and what do they have? An Ice - cream fondue, OMG!!! I am definitely trying this!

Even the drinks that they sell in 7-Eleven stores has really cute packaging!

Something else which surprised me...KFC! Not just your regular fried chicken but chicken with curry and rice?? This is the first time that I have seen a KFC that sells food like this! I couldn't resist going in to try out something in their menu, I even managed to order a French vanilla tart! There are lots and lots more food pics during my trip, please check them out in my food blog!

Off to Hong Kong I go.....

Finished my exams in the morning and now it's 10.22pm and this is the view from my seat on the plane leaving for Hong Kong! Yippee....can't wait!

My plane arrived early and it was only 4.20am in the morning! Nothing was open yet and I had to wait around for the train to start at 6am! So I ended up working on a crossword puzzle while waiting. Finally got to my sis's place and after a rest and some food, what did I do? why, shopping of course! First stop, 太子站.... it was literally if they only sell shoes, it's a whole street of shops that just sells shoes! so I went to check the fishes and they were so pretty! Fishes of all colours, even blue ones! Hopefully, you can see some from the pics above!

While wondering around, I saw this stall, they sell cloths like this to hang on your bedroom door! I really like it but thought that placing the pink one on my bedroom door is probably not a good idea! I might possibly be too old to get stuff like this! :(
Next best thing...a picture memento.

My favourite apples....Fuji apples! So hard to find nice ones in Sydney! They were so big and pretty here and cheap too! Only around AUD 2 for 4 apples! yum yum....I couldn't resist buying some.

After all that walking, decided to get back to my sis place and we went for dinner and some really nice yummy fruit desserts! That's it...now watching TV to see what's on. Can't wait to see what the next day brings... night night!

Less than 36 hours to go...

In less than 36 hours, I will be en route to Hong Kong and Japan for nearly three weeks for a long awaited holiday break. I've been looking forward to this for ages. I feel like the last time that I truly had a holiday was when I was back home to see my family and friends and that was in 2005!

Alas! before that can happen, I still have one more exam to go through...just ONE MORE! Please just let me pass. This is the first time since undertaking the CA program where I actually finish the Learning Pack with at least 2 days to spare to tie up my critical file and go through exam papers. Previously, i usually ended up with only the night before due to my procrastination streak! Isn't it funny how we have no hesitation doing anything else like eating, catching up with friends but come up with a million and one excuses when it comes to studying. Working full time and study does take its toll on you as well.

Procrastination nearly took over again when earlier during the week I decided to watch just one episode of a TV series while having dinner and telling myself sternly, just 1 episode and you're going back to studying. Instead, I ended up watching the entire series as each episode ended in a cliffhanger! :(

Somehow, with this potentially being my last one, I managed to muster up some motivation and a lot of work to get myself back on track; but the more I study the less I feel that I seem to know. How can this be happening...

This shall be my last posting until after the exam where hopefully I have some good news about how it went. Till then, smile and be positive!
